01 What I help with

What I help with at home.

Home IT support and computer repair for households in Brighton and Hove. I'm based in Saltdean. These are the usual jobs, and each one has its own page.

  1. Wi-Fi that dies in the back room.

Dead spots, dropouts, or a router in the wrong corner. I find where the signal fails and fix it.

  2. Virus removal and scam clean-up.

A pop-up, a call “from Microsoft” or “BT”, or someone was on your computer. If bank details were involved, call your bank first.

  3. Laptop repair and computer repair.

I'll tidy up the slow one and tell you straight whether it has life left before you buy new. Or I'll set up the new one and move your files, photos and email across. I also fix computers that won't start up.

  4. Printer setup.

It worked yesterday and now nothing can find it. I reconnect it to every computer and phone that needs it.

  5. Computer help for older relatives.

Unhurried home computer visits for older relatives, at their pace, with written steps and a call back to you.

  6. Remote computer help.

If your internet works and it's a quick software or email fix, I can do it remotely for £30/hour.

  7. Email help.

It won't send, won't arrive, has locked you out, or has vanished from your phone.
